Position Description
| Our client is seeking an Associate to join its Labor & Employment Litigation practice. While the role will be integrated into a North American platform the position will be based in Toronto. The successful candidate will work on a broad spectrum of employment matters including:- Litigation of multi-jurisdictional class and collective actions
- High-stakes and complex employment disputes
- Advisory work relating to workforce management compliance and cross-border employment issues
- Collaboration on global employment projects involving multiple offices and practice groups
The role offers exposure to sophisticated domestic and international employment issues and the opportunity to work closely with culturally diverse globally distributed teams. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment and demonstrate strong commercial judgment in addition to litigation capability.

Qualifications
| The ideal candidate will possess:- 37years of employment litigation experience
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent analytical research writing and advocacy skills
- Experience gained at a leading law firm within an employment litigation practice
- Experience handling complex high-stakes matters; exposure to class or collective actions is an asset
- Admission and good standing with the applicable provincial bar (Ontario preferred for Toronto location)
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within global cross-cultural teams
Candidates should be motivated detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a sophisticated international practice environment.
