You will help design develop maintain test and monitor your teams features and services contributing to the continued enhancement of the Genesys Cloud Workforce Engagement Management (WEM) product suite.
What this role isnt
This role does not involve building simple single-page applications or single-tenant services. Instead you will be working within a complex multi-tenant cloud ecosystem. Your contributions will span the entire lifecycle of sophisticated features - from initial design through deployment and ongoing monitoring in Genesys Cloud.

To thrive in this role you should be a strong problem solver who is eager to contribute to both the team and the broader product suite. You are experienced in building custom web components with accessibility in mind and in developing websites that handle large amounts of data including complex manipulation and visualization. You also keep up to date with the latest developments in front-end languages libraries and frameworks. Beyond identifying challenges you can propose and design practical solutions that drive real impact. A resourceful detail-oriented mindset will be key to your success at Genesys.
Some details about what youll do
Design build and troubleshoot scalable microfrontends
Contribute to shared web components for use within the team and across the organization
Understand and efficiently integrate our APIs into web applications
Perform unit integration and manual testing for team code changes
Identify opportunities for improvement in code architecture and processes
Participate in code reviews - both to learn and grow and to help others through constructive feedback
Mentor teammates by providing technical guidance and support to overcome blockers
Engage in regular team meetings to communicate openly share ideas and support collaboration
5 years of deep expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks (React Angular Vue) with a proven track record of defining front-end architecture driving best practices and scaling complex UI systems.
Strong experience integrating UI applications with RESTful APIs and WebSocket-based services integrating complex back-end systems to deliver end-to-end features
Familiarity with the full application lifecycle from design and development through deployment and ongoing support
Excellent critical thinking reasoning and communication skills for effective collaboration across teams and business units
Strong desire to work with microfrontends and cloud-native development
Ability to work effectively independently as well as part of a distributed team
Experience owning the full UI application lifecycle from design and development through deployment monitoring and ongoing support.
Experience with building accessible web components (WCAG ARIA best practices)
Background in data-intensive web applications including data manipulation and visualization
Familiarity with AWS Cloud or other cloud platforms
