Job Summary
About the Role
Our Client is expanding its digital capabilities to deliver modern user-centric public services. As part of the Digital Design and Delivery Division (3D) you will work on high-impact digital transformation initiatives that improve how citizens interact with government services.
You will join cross-functional agile teams focused on service innovation product delivery and modernization of legacy systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and enhance full stack applications for public-facing services
- Participate in discovery user research and technical solution design
- Build scalable high-quality software aligned with modern development practices
- Collaborate with designers product owners and cross-functional teams
- Contribute to backlog refinement sprint planning and agile delivery
- Identify and resolve defects ensuring performance and reliability
- Support deployments releases and ongoing system improvements
- Develop reusable components and maintain technical documentation
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer
- Strong experience working in Agile environments
- Experience with modern application frameworks
- Hands-on experience with Git or other source control systems
- Experience with unit testing and integration testing
- Strong knowledge of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working on complex production-grade applications
- Exposure to software architecture and design patterns
Nice-to-Have
- Experience transforming legacy systems into modern applications
- Experience working with UX service design or human-centered design teams
- Familiarity with Government of Alberta standards and practices
