Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute sub-acute aged care and community services.
Northeast Health Wangaratta is recruiting for a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse with demonstrated minimum 1 year experience in paediatric nursing to complement and enhance our recently established stand-alone Paediatric Unit. Permanent and temporary hours available
The Paediatric Nurse will provide safe compassionate quality person centred care and work in collaboration with patients/families/carers and a multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and outcomes.

Northeast Health Wangaratta has recently undergone major redevelopment which has included a brand new state of the art 8 10 bed Paediatric Unit. It is the main public referral centre for the Alpine and Hume region. The Paediatric Unit provides care for infants through to adolescent children aged 0-18. Our services include medical surgical and mental health care and incorporate a surgical pre-admission clinic and paediatric review clinics into the model of care. We also work collaboratively with Hospital In The Home and Paediatric Integrated Cancer Services.
We have a strong focus on professional development with several education programs arranged on site throughout the year and training opportunities in collaboration with the Royal Childrens Hospital Melbourne.
Applicants will be paid in accordance with the Victorian Public Sector Nurses and Midwives Single Interest Employers Enterprise Agreement 2024-2028 or its successors
