The Test & Commissioning (T&C) Engineer is responsible for supporting the validation integration and commissioning of signaling systems including CBTC and ATO technologies. This role ensures that all testing is executed safely accurately and in alignment with technical requirements industry standards and project timelines. The T&C Engineer collaborates closely with engineering systems and project teams to troubleshoot issues maintain hardware/software configurations in the field and produce clear detailed documentation. This position is essential to ensuring the reliable performance and safety of rail signaling systems throughout the deployment lifecycle. Key Responsibilities - Assist in defining prerequisites dependencies and priorities for Test & Commissioning planning.
- Develop maintain and update T&C procedures test protocols and workflows to ensure consistent execution.
- Plan coordinate and execute T&C activities based on approved test documentation and project requirements.
- Complete all required test records including data sheets defect reports incident logs and validation documents.
- Identify and report technical and project issues and assist in defining mitigation and corrective actions.
- Manage hardware and software configurations in the field ensuring proper documentation and version control.
- Conduct investigations using remote diagnostic data to support troubleshooting and system performance analysis.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues working closely with engineering operations and supplier teams.
Qualifications - Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Science or a related discipline.
- 13 years of professional experience in signaling testing system verification or commissioning.
- Basic understanding of CBTC and ATO systems and subsystems.
- Familiarity with railway signaling systems including subsystem architecture and system functionality.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards such as CENELEC AREMA and IEEE.
- Experience creating reviewing and maintaining technical documentation.
- Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for timely issue identification and resolution.
