Responsibilities

• Your duties will include ownership of complex systems such as crafting itemizationXPand stats.
• Create andmaintainhigh level paper designs
• Driveiteration based on playtest feedbackand game maturity
• Implementing key systems in partnership with engineering teams.
• Project Lead role based on project*

• 6 years of experience designing and balancing systems and features
• At least one shipped titlewithsurvival or RPG-stylesystems
• General scriptingproficiency
• Proficiencyin handling numerical data in spreadsheets and data tables

Big Plusses

• Experience inpreviouslead design roles
• Familiarity with programming inobject-orientedlanguages

Lead roles are assignedon a per-project basisand not tied directly to the level of a designers not onlydrive the designand best practicesthat relate to yourarea of expertisebutalsorepresentall aspectsof itin interdisciplinary discussionsregardingscope planning toolsfeaturesand team updates.

As the project matures you will also help drivehiring andmentoring ofanyadditionaldesignstaffthat might be needed within your fieldtoaccomplishproject goalsin a timely mannerand toa high a design lead you will also be expected to help assess their performance and aid in their career development.

Job Location & Compensation Info

This is ahybridoronsiteposition. Hybrid is 3 days a week studio is located in Troy NY.

The salary for this position is typically within the range specified below per year. Please note that the actual base pay may vary based on factors such as your qualifications skills experience and other relevant considerations.

Salary Range:
Senior $80000.-$120000. USD
Specialist $100000.-$150000. USD
