Intern, Legal (4 Months)

The Intern Legal will assist the Legal Department with supporting the business units of Seaspan Shipyards. The position will be exposed to various areas of the law with a primary focus on contracts and commercial.

Note: Due to business needs this position is required to be fully on-site based at2 Pemberton Avenue North Vancouver.

What youll do

• Work in collaboration with the Legal Department and Seaspan Shipyards business units.
• Review and provide comments on contracts non-disclosure agreements and legal correspondence.
• Consider Legal Department processes and assess areas for improvement.
• Support negotiation of customer and supplier contracts.
• Draft contract terms for supply arrangements and assists Supply Chain Management to draft terms of shipyard procurement contracts.
• Prepare materials to obtain governance authorizations for contracts.
• Support the preparation of materials presentations and other documentation as required for meetings.
• Perform additional ad-hoc analysis and other duties as assigned.

We require a full-time commitment Monday-Friday 40 hours per week with an hourly rate of $26.00/hour.

Start Date of Internship: Monday May 4th 2026.

End Date of Internship: Friday August 28th 2026 (4-Months).
