Job Summary
Kingston Elementary School in Kingston Massachusetts is seeking a full time Grade 1 teacher long term substitute. This position is anticipated to begin in April 2026 and end at the close of the school year in 2026.
A successful candidate will:
- possess active licensure in Early Childhood (PK-2) or Elementary (1-6).
- be the lead teacher in a general education classroom and teach all subject areas.
- collaborate with grade level teachers.
- use data to inform instruction.
- communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing.
- work with students colleagues and families from diverse backgrounds with diverse needs in an inclusive and culturally-proficient manner.
- support students academically emotionally and behaviorally.
- report directly to the building principal.
This role is compensated at $312.00 per day beginning on day 1 of the assignment.
