Description

The Lead Expeditor is responsible for maintaining the inventory and warehouse operations at our Horseshoe Laundry Facility. This position is responsible for operating commercial product transport equipment with little direct oversight while maintaining high positivity in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

Candidate will be responsible for maintaining adequate inventory levels of supplies utilized in the facility including but not limited to chemicals linens safety products and maintenance items.
Will utilize commercial transport equipment such as pallet jacks dollies and forklifts. As Lead Expeditor candidate will need to maintain credentials to perform lift certifications for other team members as needed.
Team member will utilize computers to perform ordering and inventory duties using multiple applications in Oracle and Stratton Warren.
Candidate will assume responsibility for $1million of inventory and actively manage the accounting and allocations of the inventory.
Will be responsible for managing high value inventory ensuring all items are accounted for during audits.
Will oversee reclamation of laundry linens at end of life and calculate injections of new linens as replacements to ensure par level inventory is maintained for 13 properties service by the laundry facility.
Will use any necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Team member will oversee chemical receiving and ensure the facility complies with all regulatory requirements enforced by OSHA CCFD SNHD and other agencies as applicable.
Candidate will be expected to work safely around high-volume commercial laundry equipment and will be expected to report any equipment malfunctions immediately to supervisory team members.
Candidate will work with several hundred employees throughout the day and should display a positive attitude towards coworkers and communicate openly with facility leadership.
Will oversee utility classification team members to transport handle and manage warehouse operations.

Physical requirements:

Moves or lifts equipment up to 50 lbs. Pushes wheeled carts up to 900 lbs.
Requires constant walking and standing throughout the entire shift.

Work Environment:

Must be able to work in extreme heat and cold in indoor environment
Must be able to work in a factory production environment.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older
Multi-lingual (English and Spanish preferred)
Previous commercial laundry experience preferred
Forklift certification is required
