Job Summary:

Manages employee health and wellness activities workflow and staffing resources within designated regional ministry markets.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides regulatory and accreditation requirements to and collaborates with ministry governance committees as needed.
  • Responsible for record keeping and reporting processes on system platforms utilized to store employee health records.
  • Provides leadership and direction for development and implementation of employee health initiatives as well as policies and procedures.
  • Provides assistance to workers compensation regarding accommodated duty restricted duty disability leave return to work and associate safety.
  • Designs and implements training programs to ensure employee safety in the office.
  • Supports clinical operations with vaccination clinics annual fit testing and /or prehire health screening.
  • Applies the existing body of evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge in health care to nursing practice ensuring that nursing care is delivered based on patients age-specific needs and clinical needs as described in the departments Scope of Service.
  • Recruits engages develops leads and manages assigned staff.
  • Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelors degree in nursing

EXPERIENCE

  • Five years experience in nursing with three years in leadership

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting standing walking reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms malfunctioning machinery etc.
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
  • Occasional bending stooping kneeling squatting twisting and gripping.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
  • Rare climbing.
