Location: 850 W. 1700 S. Suite #1 SLC UT 84104 Schedule: Monday- Friday 7:30 am 4:00 pm Type: Full-Time FLSA: Exempt
Are you a seasoned energy professional who loves mentoring others and raising the bar on quality Were looking for an Energy Auditing Supervisor to lead our residential energy auditing team and ensure top-tier compliance safety and performance across all operations.
What Youll Do
In this hands-on leadership role youll oversee high-quality residential energy audits and QCI inspections while supervising and mentoring Energy Auditors and field staff. Youll drive process improvements manage workloads monitor production goals and partner closely with internal teams external agencies and the Program Coordinator to deliver outstanding results for our clients and community.
Youll also
- Provide daily supervision coaching and technical guidance
- Ensure compliance with state federal and agency standards
- Lead team meetings peer reviews and quality assurance initiatives
- Support staff training certifications and professional growth
- Coordinate with project managers and regulatory inspectors
- Identify health and safety risks and recommend corrective actions
- Maintain equipment tools vehicles and accurate documentation
What You Bring
- Proven leadership in residential energy auditing quality control or weatherization
- Strong technical skills (diagnostics combustion safety pressure testing energy modeling)
- Excellent organization communication and conflict-resolution skills
- Sound judgment discretion and accountability
- Comfort working both in the office and occasionally in client homes
What Youll Need to Succeed
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- BPI Quality Control Inspector BPI Energy Auditor certification Lead Safety & RMGA certifications within 1 year of employment
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to pass required background and health screenings
Work & Physical Environment
This role is primarily office-based with occasional fieldwork in client homes. Physical activity may include standing walking bending climbing lifting (50 lbs.) and driving as needed.
