Senior Warehouse Associate

• Maintain a strong safety culture by enforcing OSHA compliance warehouse safety protocols and risk mitigation strategies.
• Maintain a clean organized warehouse environment to prevent accidents and handling errors.
• Oversee and participated in daily warehouse functions including receiving put-away picking packing and shipping.
  • Receives and unloads inbound LTL and Small Parcel shipments. Inspects shipments for damage and accuracy.
  • Operates fork truck powered pallet jack manual pallet jack dolly etc. to move material throughout warehouse
  • Reads packing slips checks accuracy against materials received and enters information into the ERP system to account for receipt of materials
  • Conveys and puts away parts in the appropriate locations within the warehouse shelves bins racks in accordance with predetermined sequence such as size type style color product code etc.
  • Reads and interprets pick tickets locates and pick parts and distributes them within the facility or prepares them for outbound shipment as needed
  • Uses carrier websites to create shipping documents and arrange freight shipments with customers or carriers. Prepares parcel packages and LTL loads for shipment
• Suggest procedural improvements and participate in the creation and implementation of warehouse SOPs.
• Provide coaching at the request of the Distributed Products Warehouse Coordinator to junior warehouse associates.
• Utilize ERP (NetSuite) tools to manage inventory accurately and efficiently.
• Participate in the cycle counting process; investigate discrepancies and report variances to the Distributed Products Warehouse Coordinator.
• Notify the Distributed Products Warehouse Coordinator to maintain accurate inventory levels and avoid stock outs.
• Lead daily warehouse huddles provide real-time feedback and foster a team-oriented environment.

• Minimum High school diploma or equivalent
• Three (3)years of warehouse or inventory experience
• Forklift experience required. Must pass Dearing Forklift driver training / certification.
• Ability to maintain an appropriate attendance record.
• Must have good initiative dedication and problem-solving skills.
• Must be available to work overtime as needed.
• Must be able to work in an industrial environment including temperature extremes of heat and cold dust noise outdoor weather conditions and wear all required personal protective equipment.
• Must be physically fit including lifting up to 50 lb. pulling reaching and climbing.
• Must pass a drug test and be subject to random testing.
• Demonstrates strong self-motivation and discipline by efficiently completing tasks and solving problems while working independently with minimal supervision.
• NetSuite ERP is a PLUS
