Facilities Technician
Location: Miami Florida
Schedule: Full-time MondayFriday with on-call responsibility
Our repeat client in Miami Florida is seeking a full-time Facilities Technician to join their growing estate team. This role supports the daily operations maintenance and systems oversight of a large multi-dwelling private estate. The property includes multiple residences and complex infrastructure systems.
This is a highly hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys working on-site troubleshooting issues in real time and partnering closely with an existing facilities lead and additional team members. The ideal candidate is operational technically strong and comfortable in a fast-paced high-functioning private estate environment.
This position reports into the Facilities Manager and works alongside a broader team of engineers property managers and staff.
Schedule
This is primarily a MondayFriday role with standard daytime hours; however flexibility is required. The Facilities Technician is expected to be responsive and available after hours and on weekends as needed particularly when the principals are in residence or when urgent systems issues arise. Local candidates within a reasonable commuting distance to the property are strongly preferred.
Role Responsibilities
- Provide daily hands-on maintenance and operational support across multiple residences on the estate
- Monitor and troubleshoot key property systems including HVAC pool systems filtration systems (RO water) electrical mechanical and plumbing
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure all systems are functioning optimally
- Coordinate with and support outside vendors contractors and engineers as needed
- Assist with light construction projects repairs and installations
- Support gym equipment maintenance and general facility operations
- Assist with marina/boathouse needs when requested
- Maintain exterior areas including light landscaping pressure washing and general indication
- Support electric vehicle infrastructure and charging systems
- Maintain tools equipment and storage areas in a clean and organized manner
- Be proactive in identifying issues before they become problems
This role is not managerial. Candidates must be comfortable getting hands dirty and working directly on systems and physical infrastructure.
Role Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on facilities or estate maintenance experience within a private household luxury residence or comparable high-end environment
- Strong working knowledge of:
- HVAC systems
- Pool systems
- Filtration and water systems
- Electrical mechanical and plumbing systems
- Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks as needed (within OSHA guidelines)
- Able to lift carry climb ladders and operate standard maintenance equipment
- High level of professionalism discretion and reliability
- English speaking (additional languages a plus not required)
- Non-smoker
- Must have reliable transportation
- Flexible and responsive to after-hours and weekend needs
- Must be local to the Miami area
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US
- Ideal candidates are fluent in English and Spanish
Compensation & Benefits
- $130000 $150000 base salary depending on experience
