The Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services (DPSCS) is seeking dedicated candidates to fill important roles within our department. POSITION DUTIES
Responsible for overall Administration of MCEs HagerstownWarehouse. Storage of products received from our Production Plants located inState Prisons and deliveries to customer state-wide. The MCE Warehouse/RegionalManager in Hagerstown MD is responsible for the oversight and deliveryfunctions of the warehouse This position efficiently coordinates and schedulesthe transfer of finished goods from the MCE Plants within its area ofresponsibility to the warehouse combines and stages finished goods forcustomer orders and ensures on time delivery of all MCE products. The positionworks in conjunction with the MCE Jessup Warehouse as well as the MCE Projectson a daily basis. Employees in this classification manage the work of the MCEAssistant Warehouse Manager and MCE Warehouse driver/supervisor as well as aninmate warehouse and delivery team. Ability to travel regionally as needed isrequired for this position as well as proven project management skills withthe ability to lead initiatives according to business needs and strategy.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduation froman accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalencycertificate.
Experience: Four (4) yearsof experience in warehousing distribution cross-dock supply chain orrelated field two (2) years of this experience must include supervisingemployees in a Warehouse or Distribution Center setting.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience applying basic accounting/bookkeeping principles.
- Experiencecoordinating and scheduling multi-faceted project deliveries (including installation)
- Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Software.
