QualificationsPosition Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient care to an incarcerated population under the supervision of nursing medical and mental health staff. The CNA supports patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic clinical tasks while maintaining a safe respectful and professional care environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist patients with personal hygiene and daily living activities
Monitor and report vital signs and changes in patient condition
Support nursing staff with routine clinical tasks
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Follow safety security and infection control protocols
Collaborate with nursing medical and mental health teams
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED required
Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
One (1) year of CNA experience preferred (long-term care skilled nursing residential care physician practice or correctional setting)
Current PPD documentation for tuberculosis screening or ability to obtain
Current CPR and AED certification
Ability to pass background investigation and obtain required security clearance
