Marine Project Engineer

Job Summary
As a Project Engineer you will be integral in preparing and executing various offshore projects acting as the bridge between the project team and the operational crew. Your role is vital in ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and effectively contributing to mission of sustainable solutions in marine engineering.
Primary Tasks and responsibilities
- Prepare revise and approve technical documentation for project design phases ensuring adherence to standards guidelines and best practices.
- Monitor and control costs during project execution.
- Plan and execute all assigned tasks on time safely efficiently reliably and cost-effectively.
- Manage vendors and contractors onsite analyze potential risks and recommend actions to mitigate issues related to construction (EHS manpower logistics).
- Monitor installation processes
Technical profile requirements
- 7 years of experience in Project Engineering in a marine environment.
- In-depth understanding of dredging operations and vessel management.
- In depth trenching experience needed as well as cable installation
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g. MS Project Primavera).
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices related to marine civil engineering.
Non-Technical profile requirements
Extensive experience in project management particularly in dredging and vessel projects.
Methodology/Certification requirements
Bachelors degree in Engineering Marine Engineering or related field
Language proficiencies
Fluent speaking and writing English proficiency in other National languages is a major plus
