Job Summary
Job Summary
Responsible for all tasks and/or duties relating to inventory in any capacity. These include but are not limited to:
- Set up and operate CNC and milling machines drill presses and other equipment.
- Fabricating Bus Bar and other parts/components as required
- Program computerized equipment and make program edits as per requirements.
- Run and/or set up the CNC machines with the correct speed and feed.
- Thoroughly inspect parts and maintain quality based on TPS requirements
- Use precision measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers to verify work.
- Identify issues with machining tools and equipment and document/report them
- Identify opportunities for process and procedure improvement
- Keep workstation and department clean and organized
- Following ISO 9001 standards practicing 5S and LEAN manufacturing standards
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
- Follow all safety procedures and quality requirements and wear approved PPE
Requirements
- Possess high school graduation certification
- Previous experience operating CNC machines milling machines drill presses and other fabrication equipment
- Ability to measure in imperial and metric and convert measurements from fractions to decimals/decimals to fractions
- Possess a valid OFA Level 2 First Aid Certificate would be an asset.
- Capable of lifting 30 pounds frequently
- Has an open mind willingness to learn and a great attitude
- Must be flexible highly motivated & organized
- Excellent work ethic
- Team player
