Job Summary

Job Title: Senior Big Data Consultant

Location: Lisbon Portugal

Work Regime: Full-time & Hybrid

Responsibilities and Tasks:

Design develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Spark and Databricks
Implement and manage real-time data streaming solutions with Kafka
Build and optimize data solutions within Microsoft Fabric
Develop robust ETL/ELT workflows to ingest transform and deliver large-scale datasets
Ensure data quality governance security and compliance standards
Collaborate with data analysts data scientists and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions

Requirements

5 years of experience in Data Engineering or a similar role with strong hands-on expertise in Spark and Databricks
Experience building batch and real-time data pipelines using Kafka Python and SQL
Experience working with Microsoft Fabric and designing scalable data solutions
Experience with cloud platforms particularly Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud
Strong understanding of distributed data processing ETL/ELT development and data architecture principles
