Job Summary
Job Description: Finance Manager Aluminium Extrusion Manufacturing
Position: Finance Manager
Location: Cheyyar / Kanchipuram (Vivant Solutions)
Reports to: Director / Founder
Experience: 8-12 years (6 in manufacturing preferred)
Role Purpose
Own end-to-end finance function for Vivant Solutions' aluminum extrusion manufacturing
from AP/AR/banking to GST/TDS compliance manufacturing COGS inventory valuation
month-end closing and founder-ready dashboards. Build processes coach team and
partner with operations for accurate financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Process Ownership & Controls
Design and implement SOPs for AP AR banking GL inventory manufacturing COGS
and statutory compliance
Ensure 100% bank reconciliation vendor/customer reconciliation and clean month-
end close
Build internal controls and process documentation for audit readiness
Accounting & Closing
Own monthly P&L balance sheet cash flow preparation with accruals provisions
depreciation
Manage inventory valuation (FIFO/WAC) stock reconciliation and physical
verification
Compute manufacturing COGS standard cost variances (FSCP) and product
profitability analysis
Compliance & Statutory
Ensure timely GST filing (GSTR-1 3B 2B reconciliation) TDS returns (24Q 27Q)
payroll compliances
Handle e-invoicing ITC claims reverse charge mechanism and statutory audits
Prepare data for ROC filings and annual financial statements
Dashboards & MIS
Build and maintain Founder dashboards: AR/AP aging cash flow forecast working
capital product margins cost variances
Export Tally data to Excel for management reporting
Translate numbers into business insights (DSO inventory turns margin trends)
Team & Systems
Coach 3-5 accounts executives; assign clear process ownership
Configure and optimize Tally (masters GST/TDS inventory cost centers
manufacturing modules)
Partner with production team on BOM accuracy yield tracking scrap accounting

Qualifications
Preferred: CA / CMA / MBA Finance
Acceptable: 8-12 years manufacturing experience (Tally GST/TDS
hands-on)
Manufacturing industry exposure mandatory (metals fabrication process industry)

100% clean month-end close
All statutory returns filed on time (zero penalties)
Founder dashboards live and updated weekly
Team process ownership established (no micromanagement)
Inventory reconciliation <2% variance from physical
Product profitability dashboard shows true margins by profile
Salary: 10-16 LPA (depending on experience) performance incentives
