Job Summary

We are accepting applications for a .8 FTE Team Leader role supporting Gold Coast After Hours Specialist DFV Mobile Support Program. This opportunity will be until 30th Sept 2026 with the possibility of extension.

In this part-time max term role (30.4 hours per week - Tues 8:30am to 4:30pm Wed-Fri 2pm to 10pm until September 30th 2026 with possibility of extension) youll work as a part of our SEQ DFV team in Gold Coast to help us create lasting change for children everywhere.

You will make a difference by:

  • Providing day-to-day leadership and oversight of program operations on-site
  • Supporting staff wellbeing reflective practice and client-centred decision-making
  • Responding to emerging risks and maintain service integrity
  • Liaising with internal teams and external partners as required
  • Completing rostering and timesheets

This role requires:

  • A genuine passion to support and manage a high-performing team to meet and exceed objectives and achieve positive outcomes for children and young people.
  • Demonstrated understanding of trauma-informed and culturally safe practice
  • Strong communication problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Familiarity with program requirements and organisational processe
  • Confidence in navigating complex situations and supporting team cohesion
