Essential Functions:
- In-depth working knowledge of aircraft safety directives.
- Ability to read write speak and understand English.
- In-depth knowledge (aircraft/vehicle movement and safety/hazards) of flight line operations.
- In-depth knowledge of using aircraft technical publications-read interpret follow and basic comprehension of schematic diagrams drawings and charts.
- Working knowledge (input and extract data) of maintenance database technology.
- Formal or Specialized Training/Equivalent on assigned aircraft and equipment.
- Willingness and ability to work shifts as assigned and travel as part of a maintenance recovery team if required.
- Capable of completing/passing a required physical exam for flight operations.
- Ability to work in the established CONUS work environment work shift schedules as assigned 5 days a week with the possibility to work 13 weekends.
Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship.
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate (A&P license).
- Minimum of three (3) years aircraft mechanic level experience.
- Minimum of 2 years Experience in the use of common hand and special tools/testers as required for aircraft maintenance.
- Valid State Drivers License.
- Valid US Passport.
Preferred Additonal Skills:
- Recent King Air B200 or 350 experience on civilian and military platforms including Pratt & Whitney PT6 turboprop experience is strongly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work independently or within a group.
Work Environment:
The diversity of working conditions ranges from an environment where there is little or no physical discomfort to an environment where inclement weather may subject the individual to severe changes in temperature wind rain etc. May be required to work in areas where high noise hazards exposure to fumes airborne particles and electrical shock hazards exist.
