Job Summary

SB 848 COMPLIANCE EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1 2026

Effective January 1 2026 and in accordance with California Education Code Section 44051(a)(1) any
applicant for a non-teaching position must disclose acomplete list of every school district county office
of education charter school state special school and diagnostic center operated by the department of
education and private school that the applicant has previously been an employee of including full-time
part-time or substitute to providethis information may be considered an act of
dishonesty and could affect hiring decisions.

Academic Coach

Academic Coacheshave a specialized talent and skill such asdancespeech and debate robotics cheer sideline and other club sport/activity. Our Academic Coacheswork with middle school or high school students across the District sites.

SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge and interest in the coaching area.

Can work collaboratively in a school environmentwith students and teachers.

Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills with students and teachers.

Have reliable and consistent means of communication and transportation.

Coachesmay be required to lift push pull or carry supplies and classroom furniture weighing up to 40 lbs. Must also bend twist reach stand and/or sit for extended periods of time.
