Job Summary
Looking for a highly experiencedData Platform Engineerwith deep expertise in Databricks and Unity Catalog. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in building and governing enterprise data platforms from the ground up.
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
- 12 years of experience in data engineering and enterprise data platform development
- Strong hands-on expertise inDatabricks including advanced ETL/ELT pipeline development
- Proven experience insetting up and configuring Unity Catalog from scratch
- Experience withdata governance and security toolssuch as Privacera and Collibra
- Strong understanding of metadata management data lineage and data quality frameworks
- Experience designing scalable data models and enterprise data architectures
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance data access controls and security best practices
- Experience supporting ML model deployment in batch and real-time data environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement scalable data platform solutions using Databricks ecosystem tools
- Build and optimize robust data pipelines ensuring high performance and reliability
- Implement and manage governance frameworks leveraging Unity Catalog and Collibra
- Ensure platform-level data security access control and compliance alignment
- Define data standards metadata strategies and governance policies
- Enable operationalization of machine learning workflows within governed data pipelines
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
