Job Description

| Reports To: | Assistant Director of Maintenance |
| Location: | Various Locations |
| Pay: | $17.00 |
SHIFT: Monday-Friday (daytime hours with flexibility)
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Responsible for cleaning contracted buildings and office space.
Essential Functions Include:
- Clean building floors by sweeping mopping scrubbing or vacuuming them.
- Gather and empty trash.
- Service clean and supply restrooms.
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
- Clean windows glass partitions and mirrors using specific cleaners sponges and squeegees.
- Dust furniture walls machines and equipment.
- Mix water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications.
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- Any other duties deemed necessary for the cleanliness of the building.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 1-year previous maintenance / janitorial experience.
Ability to handle multiple projects.
Must have a valid drivers license.
Floater Porters will use an agency vehicle to drive to and from individual work sites.
