We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Editor - Science to join our dynamic team in Darya Ganj Delhi. This role is critical in shaping high-quality accurate and engaging scientific content that informs and inspires our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit and proofread Science content (Physics Chemistry Biology EVS) for childrens books (K8).

Ensure content accuracy age-appropriate language and conceptual clarity.

Align manuscripts with latest NCERT/CBSE curriculum and guidelines.

Verify scientific facts diagrams tables activities and illustrations.

Simplify complex scientific concepts for young learners.

Coordinate with authors illustrators designers and internal editorial teams.

Review page proofs/PDFs and provide clear detailed correction instructions.

Ensure high editorial quality while meeting production timelines.

Requirements

Bachelors degree required; graduate/postgraduate in Science preferred.

35 years of experience as a Science Editor in an educational publishing house especially childrens books.

Skills Required:

Strong proofreading copy-editing and content development skills

Excellent subject knowledge of School-level Science (K8)

High attention to detail and accuracy

Good communication and coordination skills

Ability to manage multiple titles and meet deadlines
