On behalf of our client we are looking for a competent skilled and experienced Mobile Operations Manager to work in Tanzania Dar es salaam.

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Kenyan mobile money professional to relocate to Tanzania and manage large-scale super dealer operations including 4000 wakalas float management KPI performance and operational controls.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Establish and manage scalable mobile money super dealer operations in Tanzania including SOPs agent/wakala management float control and service delivery.

Ensure regulatory operational and SLA compliance while resolving escalated operational technical float and customer issues with key stakeholders.

Drive wakala onboarding training performance management customer journey optimization and complaint resolution to increase adoption and transaction growth.

Oversee system testing UAT and incident resolution while mentoring local Tanzanian teams to ensure operational continuity and excellence.

Experience scaling or restructuring super dealer or national agent networks

Project or operations management background

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Proven experience in mobile money or digital payments operations

Leadership experience managing large agent or wakala networks

Strong expertise in super dealer operations float management and KPI delivery

Demonstrated experience in wakala onboarding training and performance management

Solid understanding of mobile money regulatory and operational frameworks

Strong Excel reporting and data analysis skills

Willingness and ability to relocate from Kenya to Tanzania and support local team development
