Job Summary
Titan Technologies LLC (Titan) is seeking an experienced self-directed Senior Systems Engineer to support the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) III contract. As a member of our team you will help to assist USSOCOM Service Component Commands Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOC) and deployed forces in the delivery of a full spectrum of Information Technology (IT) services to operate and maintain information flow communications and connectivity globally.
Job description
The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM its Component Commands its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs) and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration change license and asset management; conduct training and perform Install Move Add Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM the CIO/J6 organization and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.
Systems Engineers perform engineering level support in accordance with the SIE OPORD ensuring compliance with all technical requirements system specifications and performance standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop maintain and support technical infrastructure hardware and system software components.
- Perform installation maintenance optimization and support of system software and hardware.
- Perform end-user support requiring System Engineer Subject Matter Expertise support.
- Configure debug and support multiple infrastructure platforms.
- Engineer and lead the enterprise virtual infrastructure and system software components.
- Provide support and technical expertise in Directory Services technology including DNS GPO ADFS DFS Domains and Trust Sites and Services and Role Based Access Control.
- Provide support of Identity Management roles policies hardware software maintain AD/GAL synchronization.
- Directory Services support including DNS GPO AADC ADFS DFS Domains and Trust Sites and Services and Role Based Access Control.
- Support Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) roles policies hardware software and procedures needed to create manage distribute use store and revoke digital certificates and manage public-key encryption.
- Troubleshoot PKI-related server and client issues to include middle-ware applications and configurations.
- Perform high-level root cause analysis in support of service interruption recovery as well as creating and documenting preventive measures.
- Work as a strong team contributor and provide technical expertise.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in information technology and helping shape the work for the Government.
- Work with the Government to understand their requirements and evaluate possible technical solutions.
- Engineer host environments to support complex operational databases software configuration control and system interfaces for computer systems related to customer requirements.
- Maintain file servers network access; documents analyzes and troubleshoots systems anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance.
- Potential shift work required.
You MUST have:
- DoD 8570 IAT II Certification
- DoD TS/SCI clearance
- Expertise in a systems or application programming language (e.g. Java C)
- Expertise in web-based frameworks (e.g. Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) .NET JavaScript jQuery)
- Knowledge of data structures and relational database systems relevant to candidates work area (e.g. Oracle MySQL Microsoft SQL Server PostGres)
- Working knowledge of network and information exchange technologies (e.g. TCP/IP RESTful SOAP HTTP)
Its GREAT if you also have:
- Certified Professional (VCP) OR
- Nutanix Certified Advanced Professional OR
- Azure Solutions Architect OR
- Azure Devops Engineer
- Nutanix (highly desired)
Education:
- Min 12 years with HS degree 10 years with AS/AA degree 8 years with BS/BA 6 years with MS/MA 3 years with PhD
