About the role
Our European Business Developmentand ClientServicesteam in London is looking for an Associate who willbe responsible fora broad range of internal and external business developmentand client-focused activities.
In this role youllwork closely with senior members of the team and gain valuable exposure to debt capital markets as well as the key role credit rating agencies play within this ecosystem.
You will work with Corporate Infrastructure and Project Finance clients across the United Kingdom Europe and APAC offering a unique opportunity to build both regional and sector-specific expertise.
Job Responsibilities
Actively support the business development team through key stages of the sales and marketing process
Conduct market analysis and prepare presentations toidentifycredit ratings opportunities and assess competitive landscape
Coordinate letters of engagement confidentiality agreementsinvoicingandappropriate compliancerequests
Liaise with senior BD management and credit ratings team on issuer and client relationships
Ensureaccuratereporting through Customer Relationship Management (CRM) using Salesforce
Assistsenior BD team members to design develop andmaintainoutreach and presentation activity to support engagement in areas of responsibility
Prepare marketing material in advance of client meetings and industry events
Help to compile research on existing and prospective clients to support the BD team
Qualifications
University degree in a related field
Minimum2up to4years experiencein financial services (debt capital markets securitisation corporate finance ratings advisory credit rating agency)
Strong client service and communication skills (written and verbal)
Result orientedmindsetwith a high attention to detail
Solid research and analytical abilities
Team player withdemonstratedability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
Proficient skills with CRM systems Microsoft Outlook ExcelPowerPointand Word
European language skillsadvantageousbut not essential
