Clinical Scientist (m/f/d)

Role Summary

The Clinical Scientist (CS) is responsible for the execution and oversight of observational epidemiological noninterventional pragmatic and lowinterventional studies as well as research collaborations supporting one or more asset programs within a Therapeutic Area (TA).

Working in a global crossfunctional matrix the CS ensures consistent highquality study conduct data integrity and compliance with internal SOPs and regulatory requirements. The role includes handson study execution oversight of vendor and CSled studies and coleadership of Study Core Teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support complex studies or lead lowcomplexity studies across the full study lifecycle including protocol development training vendor management study oversight data review and reporting.
  • Ensure consistency quality patient safety and regulatory compliance across all assigned studies.
  • Collaborate with Medical Evidence Generation (MEG) Medical Affairs Statistics Clinical Data Sciences and external partners.
  • Provide operational input into tactical study implementation aligned with asset strategies.
  • Identify and resolve operational or scientific issues; escalate as appropriate.
  • Represent the Clinical Scientist function in program teams and governance forums as needed.
  • Support regulatory submissions inspections and audits.
  • Present and discuss study data internally and externally (e.g. with KOLs or regulators).
  • Contribute to R&D initiatives and process improvement efforts.

Qualifications

Education

  • BA/BS with 5 years relevant experience or
  • MS/MBA with 3 years PharmD/PhD with 2 years or MD/DO with 1 year

Experience & Skills

  • Industry experience as a Clinical Scientist or in a comparable role
  • Handson experience in epidemiological or observational study design and conduct
  • Experience working in multinational crossfunctional teams
  • Independent authorship of protocols and key study documents
  • Strong knowledge of clinical research processes GCP and regulatory operations
  • Working knowledge of statistics and data interpretation
  • Experience managing external vendors
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a global role
  • Proficiency in MS Word Excel and PowerPoint
  • Therapeutic area experience

Travel

  • Up to 10% domestic and international travel
  • Occasional evening or weekend work may be required based on project needs

The salary depends on your educational background and expertise as well as your previous experiences but will at least amount to 90.500 gross p.a. on a fulltime base.
