As a Data Analyst within the automotive sector youll play a key role in transforming complex data into actionable insights that fuel smarter decisions across sales service inventory and operations. You will bridge the gap between raw data and business strategy building advanced reports developing interactive dashboards in React and leveraging high-level Excel and Google Sheets expertise to optimize performance and drive measurable results.

Location: 2200 Eagle Street North Cambridge
Compensation: $75000-$90000 per year
What You Will Be Doing:
- Collect clean and analyze large datasets related to vehicle sales service performance inventory supply chain and customer behavior.
- Develop and maintain automated reports and dashboards for leadership and operational teams.
- Identify trends patterns and performance gaps to support strategic decisions.
- Provide actionable insights on KPIs such as vehicle turnover rate gross margin parts performance service efficiency and customer retention.
- Translate business requirements into data visualizations and user-friendly interfaces.
- Collaborate with the development team to integrate APIs and data sources into reporting systems.
- Analyze dealership or OEM performance metrics.
- Monitor inventory aging pricing strategies and demand forecasting.
- Support forecasting for sales targets and operational capacity.
- Evaluate marketing campaign performance and customer acquisition metrics.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Data Analytics Statistics Business Analytics Finance or related field.
- 2 years of experience in a Data Analyst role (automotive industry experience preferred).
- Strong experience with:
- React (JavaScript/TypeScript) for dashboard or web-based tool development
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Google Sheets (advanced functions & automation)
- Proficiency in SQL for querying databases.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and data visualization best practices.
- Experience handling large datasets and building automated reporting systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
