Department

The overarching vision of the Digital Health division is to enable easy access to person-centred smart and connectedquality care. The Digital Health Division is responsible for enabling clinical staff to deliver timely quality care to ourpatients and carers through innovative use of information technologies and through strategic management ofinformation data and research across the organisation. It is also progressively developing and supporting initiatives toenable patients to also use digital health innovations to support their own care and health management.

The Digital Health Division encompasses the following sub-divisions:

  • Digital Health Strategy & Transformation
  • Directorate of Projects
  • Clinical Information Systems
  • Technology Services
  • Cybersecurity
  • Data Governance & Digital Health Research (DG&DHR)

Position Summary

The Portfolio Analyst & Delivery Coordinator champions high-quality portfolio management and delivery coordinationacross Digital Health enabling evidence-based data-led decisions and successful execution of strategic initiatives. Theywill support the Portfolio Governance Manager and Leadership Team with portfolio analytics delivery coordinationand scenario modelling to drive the identification selection prioritisation and delivery of strategic projects andtransformational change initiatives.

Partnering closely with Digital Health leaders program/change managers and business stakeholders the role ensuresa consistent flow of timely accurate and actionable information across portfolio governance forums transformationworking groups and steering committees.

The role will help mature and sustain agile portfolio governance operations a PM Centre of Excellence PMCommunities of Practice promoting best-practice portfolio project program and change management disciplinesproviding strategic business analysis process-mapping support functional subject matter input and broader capabilityuplift activities by contributing to the governance and execution of change initiatives that underpin achievement ofthe organisations strategic objectives.

Qualifications and Experience Required

Essential

  • 7-10 years of cumulative experience as a portfolio analyst program coordinator project controls officer orchange delivery coordinator and / or similar role.
  • Tertiary postgraduate qualification (bachelors or masters degree) in Business Administration IT ComputerScience Portfolio Program and Project Management or related discipline
  • Formal project management qualification (PMP PRINCE2 Agile/SAFe P30 P3M3 MSP MOP or equivalent)
  • Experience in portfolio prioritization scenario modelling and contingency planning in dynamic environments
  • Demonstrated experience in enterprise portfolio management office (ePMO) or IT portfolio / programmanagement office (PMO) environments supporting IT strategy and portfolio execution.

Desirable

  • Professional services consulting or previous healthcare IT transformation experience
  • Understanding of healthcare governance structures workflows and healthcare stakeholder management
  • Experience in managing clinical and non-clinical program dependencies and priorities.
  • Formal process improvement qualification (Kaizen Lean Six Sigma or equivalent)
  • Human Centered Design (HCD) principles and UX/UI lean systems / design thinking methodology expertise
