Youth Intern – Social Media Outreach

Global Information Technology is seeking a motivated Youth Intern - Social Media Outreach to support digital marketing and outreach initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience in social media management professional communication and workplace readiness within a technology and workforce development environment. This position is ideal for youth interested in marketing communications social media digital content or business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Under supervision the Youth Intern will:

• Assist with creating and scheduling social media content
• Support outreach efforts across platforms such as LinkedIn Instagram Facebook and X
• Help draft captions announcements and promotional posts
• Assist with basic graphics images and short videos using simple tools
• Monitor engagement and assist with basic performance tracking
• Maintain content calendars and posting schedules
• Follow brand guidelines and professional communication standards
• Support online community engagement activities
• Assist with general administrative or marketing-related tasks as needed

Program Details

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with social platforms

• High school diploma GED or currently enrolled preferred
