The Digital Planner Lead is accountable for digital campaign planning budgeting monitoring and reporting. They required to work very closely with all other teams to produce best-in-class solutions offer unparalleled service and deliver against targets. They are required to lead and oversee the digital planners to ensure upskilling and a smooth doing to avoiding errors.
Planning:
- Assist in the development of digital mediastrategythat specify which forms of media will be used to effectively reach the target audience achievingthebusiness objective oftheclient.
- Support onthe quarterly and annual digital media plan
- Assistinmaintainingclients digital media operation platform
- Generate analysis of market performance
- Work with digital trading managers to ensure all buys and placements fit the overall strategy
- Produceplansbased on agreed strategy or parameters set out in the brief.
- Design full funnel plans and adopt andadaptglobal guidelines.
- Work in collaboration withtheBuyer to ensure that any budget fluctuations areidentified and necessary actiontaken.
- Work with the buying team to ensure zero error implementation.
- Track media plans and recommend necessary changes.
- Manage and generate Post Campaign Reports includinglearnings& insights.
- Check commitment tracking of Budgets for Client with media vendors.
- Apply Media Principles GoldenRulesand all Value Driven standards wherenecessary.
- Be aware of all emerging mediain order toeffectivelywith the strategy teamadvisethe client on optimal mediaplans.
- Assistinpreparing regular media reviews. (Competitor analysis and media environment scans)
Stakeholder Management:
- Drive mediaefficienciesand KPIsthrough key strategic media partners.
- Keep up to date with media changes and alert the team of potential advantages/new opportunities for presentation to Client.
- Internally communicate and contribute to brainstorming to help generate ideas with the team.
- Build relationships and negotiate costs discounts and added value incentives with media vendors (Securing the best discount added value incentive or sponsorship deals from vendors)
- Attend regular status meetings both internally and with the clients contributing to client business reviews.
- Build effective business relationships with stakeholders through managing expectations clear communication and consistent performance.
The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum5years work experience in a planning role.
- Experience working at a Media Agency preferable.
- Knowledge along with a passion for digital.
- Intermediate MS Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in developing and implementing analysis and reporting strategies
- Project management; ability to manage multiple projects across critical yet often fluctuating deadlines
- Experience with new / emerging media a plus
- Result-oriented withstrong communicationand analytical skills.
- Ability to work within a fast-paceddeadline drivenenvironment.
- Analytical andproblem-solvingskills.
- Strong understanding of the media landscape.
- Understandsbusiness principles and good practice.
