SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Project Associate is a critical position at Crestview Landscape. This individual will have responsibilities associated with supporting the Project Manager & Project Engineer in successfully completing each & every installation project. A successful installation project in one that is completed to the full satisfaction of the client while meeting company target goals around quality efficiency & profitability. This position will spend most of its time in the office however there will be situations where site visits / client & field engagement will be required. |
OWNERSHIP ITEMS / RESPONSIBILITES:
- Support the PM & PE as needed in areas such as planning scheduling pricing organizing purchasing coordinating document submission etc. as needed for a successful project.
- Obtains vendor pricing & quotes when required.
- Coordinates vendor deliveries when required.
- Connects with the field staff in organizing and coordinating project needs
- Generates change orders when required
- Owns sending out weekly client Updates every Friday to ensure consistent and accurate communication and clarity between Crestview & the Client / Client Teams. This is critical as most project issues and customer dissatisfaction stems from a lack of communication and clarity!
- Assists with project submittals for materials from time to time.
- Save the PM time allowing them to focus on client relationships & the overall success of the project.
MANDATORY CORE COMPETENCIES OF THIS POSITION:
- Organized and structured in planning of work ownership / responsibility items.
- The ability to focus on the details ensuring the work is always on time complete & accurate.
- The ability to Juggle unexpected tasks while staying compliant to Co. policies & procedures.
- The ability to be flexible embrace change & open to looking at things differently.
- The capacity to grow and develop into a project manager within 3 to 5 years.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this position the employee is regularly required to stand walk and sit for extended periods of time. Position also requires the ability to lift up to 20 lbs. |
