Monday Friday Estimator average pay range $50000 to $100000
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Examines damaged vehicle to determine extent of structural body mechanical or interior damage.
- Estimates cost of labor and parts to repair or replace each damaged item.
- Reviews repair cost estimates with body shop manager.
- Contacts customers upon receipt of parts and schedules work in a timely and efficient manner.
- Gives accurate promised times and notifies customers immediately of any changes or delays.
- Performs a quality control check and inspects each vehicle after repairs are completed.
- Completes and closes all repair orders and files repair orders and related documents.
- Verifies insurance payment rental authorization and balance due prior to release of vehicles.
- Determines feasibility of repair versus replacement of parts such as bumpers fenders and doors.
- Evaluates practicality of repair as opposed to payment of vehicle market value before accident.
- Prepares insurance forms to indicate repair cost estimates and recommendations.

- Able to learn and successfully navigate collision repair specific computer software including estimating management and vehicle information provider software
- Valid driver license
