Job Summary
**Essential duties and responsibilities: **
- Consistently and safely operates machines at or above standard levels of operation including waste quality efficiency and utilization
- Troubleshot identify and correct machine related problems through proper adjustments to various parts of the machine
- Provide innovative solutions for production issues
- Provides support and guidance to less experienced personnel
- Completes appropriate end-of-shift paperwork accounting for crewing time machine time and production quantities
- Able to inspect and recognize defective products and make machine adjustments to correct the cause of defects
- Observes all housekeeping standard work and safety guidelines
- Mechanical aptitude demonstrated problem-solving skills and effective communication skills - written and verbal are required
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- The successful candidate will have a minimum of one year of manufacturing or industrial experience working with production equipment and proven mechanical ability.

- Troubleshot identify and correct machine related problems through proper adjustments to various parts of the machine.

Physical Requirements/Environmental/Working Conditions:
- Must be able to constantly stand walk use hands and arms
- Must be able to occasionally stoop kneel crouch and climb stairs
- Must frequently be able to bend at the waist/ hips
- Constantly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Constantly required reaching away from the body and frequently reaching overhead
- Ability to keep up with a machine conveyor line
- Able to work in differing temperatures
- Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts and overtime as required
