IT Support Specialist - Grafton WI

If you are driven to succeed with a passion for the professional growth and development of others our employee-focused company may have the right opportunity for you. Kapco Inc. is looking for an IT Support Specialist at our Grafton WI facility.

Responsibilities:

- Provide day-to-day technical support for desktop laptop mobile and peripheral devices
- Troubleshoot hardware software and network issues for office and plant-floor users
- Support manufacturing systems including production PCs scanners label printers and HMIs
- Install configure and maintain Windows workstations printers and standard business applications
- Manage user accounts permissions and access using Active Directory and Microsoft 365
- Assist with basic network troubleshooting (LAN/WAN Wi-Fi VPN switches)
- Support manufacturing-related software systems
- Coordinate with managed service providers as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of systems procedures and support tickets
- Participate in system upgrades equipment rollouts and IT projects
- Follow company IT policies security standards and safety requirements

Required Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelors degree in information technology Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-3 years of experience in an IT support or help desk role
- Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365
- Experience supporting users in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP DNS DHCP)
- Excellent troubleshooting communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a production-driven
environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with industrial hardware barcode scanners and label printers
- IT certifications (CompTIA A Network Microsoft etc.)
