Youll play a key role in strengthening technical capability enhancing customer outcomes and supporting assessors across a broad range of claim types including a strong focus on Income Protection.
What youll be doing:
- Designing and delivering highquality technical training to new and experienced claims assessors
- Creating and updating training content materials and evaluation methods that align with Claims philosophy
- Providing technical guidance and coaching on complex claims including Death Critical Illness Terminal Illness PTD and Income Protection
- Supporting assessors through case checking constructive feedback and tailored development
- Identifying training needs through recruitment activity performance insights and customer feedback
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with Claims Underwriting Legal Conduct Reinsurers and other stakeholders
- Embedding regulatory expectations good customer outcomes and best practice across all training activity
- Contributing to the development of the Claims Technical Academy by researching and implementing new training approaches
Qualifications :

- Extensive experience in claims assessment with strong technical knowledge of Income Protection
- A thorough understanding of protection products claims processes and endtoend case management
- Strong communication and coaching skills with the ability to motivate develop and support others
- Confidence in making technical decisions and offering guidance on complex or sensitive claim scenarios
- Experience analysing results or trends and translating insights into clear training solutions
- The ability to build positive relationships and influence effectively across teams
