What Youll Do:
- Own & Grow the Metcash Account: Lead full day-today management including Joint Business Planning promotional strategy range reviews distribution tracking and new line execution to drive sustainable growth.
- Drive commercial Performance: Manage forecasting volume tracking pricing rebates trading terms and promotional accruals identifying growth opportunities across ranging promotions and in-store activation.
- Develop Key Account Relationships: Build and manage strong relationships across MSO groups and other key customers identifying growth opportunities across ranging promotions and in-store activation.
- Deliver Insights & Reporting: Monitor account performance against targets identify risks and opportunities and prepare compelling customer presentations reviews and range submissions.
- Collaborate for Execution Excellence: Partner with third-party merchandising teams and internal stakeholders to maximise ranging distribution and in-store execution while supporting the National Business Manager as required.
Qualifications :
What You Bring to the Table:
- Experience in FMCG sales and account management (Grocery Independents or Convenience preferred)
- Exposure to promotional management forecasting claims and accrual processes
- Strong commercial acumen with exceptional attention to detail
- Experience managing pricing rebates and trading terms
- Advanced Excel capability and experience using customer portals (advantageous)
- Ability to analyse sales data and translate insights into action
- Comfortable balancing account ownership with broader account management support responsibilities
