Assistant Manager Brown Jug Inn
Ready to put your stamp on a venue with serious soul The Brown Jug Inn is looking for a high-energy all-heart Assistant Manager to join the crew and help lead one of Fairfields most iconic locals.
The Jug is where the community comes to play. From a high-octane sports bar and a premier gaming lounge to a local vibe thats second to none this venue is always humming. We dont want a clipboard-carrier; we want a floor-owning high-fiving legend who can handle a fast-paced shift while making sure every regular feels like a VIP.
A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:
- Get to know the locals so well they think youre part of the crew
- Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly safely and with a great vibe
- Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
- Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
- Bring the energy the service and the smiles every single shift
Inherent requirements:
This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock kegs and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
About you:
- Youve been around the bar bistro or gaming room block and maybe already done some supervising
- Youve learned from great managers and now youre ready to step up
- Youve got the confidence pride and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
- Youve got a current RSA and RCG/ARCG as per state requirements
