Job Summary

Job Title:Facility Services Lead

Reports To: The Facility Services Leadwill report to the Client Services Supervisor Client Services Manager or equivalent leadership.

TheFacility Services Leadprovides exceptional oversight of office and facilities services. The primary function of the role is to work in facility services with additional support for mail tasks such as scan sort log and distribute incoming mail to end users process and ship outgoing mail. This position will work together with the Facilities Manager to ensure safety and cleanliness to help guarantee a great working environment for position will also oversee repairs and maintenance required for simple fixes or report more complex problems.

Overall this position continuously offers the highest level of service to all client and SPS employees while maintaining a professional image of the company by providing prompt courteous and efficient service.

Typical Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays 7:00AM - 3:30PM

Dutiesand Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 5-star customer service to all employees across all forms of communication.
  • Perform and coordinate general and preventative office maintenance and minor repairs.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance safety checks and service inspections; maintain accurate records.
  • Coordinate cleaning and facility services for offices restrooms carpets flooring lighting and breakrooms.
  • Assemble and install office furniture as needed.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and service providers.
  • Manage inbound and outbound mail and package operations including sorting chain-of-custody tracking validating packing slips proper packaging and distribution to employees.

Competencies:

  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask prioritize and work independently.
  • Proficient in MS Office and general PC applications.
  • Working knowledge of MFD equipment and shipping/receiving procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail including accurate documentation and materials handling.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of related facilities mailroom or operations experience preferred.
  • 1 year of lead or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to work assigned hours as determined by management.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to frequently lift and move 4050 lbs.
  • Ability to grasp lift carry and transport packages (up to 60 lbs. on wheeled carts).
  • Ability to walk bend kneel stand or sit for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity to operate office equipment (phones copiers binding machines etc.).

Travel: None or Negligible

Compensation:
The expected compensation is anestimate and the final offer will depend on skills experience and other job-related factors.
