Were hiring an experienced Monitoring Lead to take full ownership of our endtoend monitoring operations across infrastructure networks applications and this hybrid role youll act as the central point of accountability for proactive detection escalation and resolution of incidents safeguarding service health and ensuring alignment with organisational standards. Youll oversee our monitoring processes tooling and team performance to keep the ecosystem reliable effective and continuously improving
What youll be doing
You bring strong technical expertise in enterprise monitoring including BMC Patrol Helix Elastic Entuity NetScout and cloudnative monitoring across AWS and Azure. You have a solid grounding in ITIL or equivalent servicemanagement frameworks with a practical understanding of infrastructure application and network monitoring concepts. Youre comfortable with automation alerting and eventmanagement best practices and you communicate clearly with stakeholders at every level. Proven leadership in technical or monitoring teams a calm solutionsfocused approach under pressure and the ability to set standards govern processes and drive continuous improvement will set you up for success. Strong vendormanagement capability and analytical thinking for postincident and trend analysis round out your profile.
What youll bring
Day to day youll guide and support internal analysts while building a strong working relationship with our thirdparty monitoring provider to ensure highquality delivery and seamless collaboration. Youll shape and govern standardised monitoring practicesfrom defining alert thresholds and escalation paths to refining workflows and championing automation that elevates our capabilities. Working closely with our Observability Practice and platform teams youll help keep our tooling healthy current and aligned to bestpractice lifecycle management. Your leadership will extend into postincident activity contributing to root cause analysis providing actionable insights and reducing recurrence. Youll manage vendor relationships participate in governance forums and maintain clear transparency on performance through dashboards scorecards and operational reporting that support senior decisionmaking.
