Under established policies and procedures this role assists with general accounting functions including transaction processing ledger maintenance reporting budgeting support and audit preparation. The Staff Accountant plays a key role in maintaining financial accuracy integrity and confidentiality while supporting sound financial operations across the : $60K Locations: Calgary or Canmore ABKey ResponsibilitiesAccounting Standard: Accounts are done in a timely manner with high accuracy. Assist Controller in the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual in financial and tax audits general ledger financial data in databases to ensure the accuracy of the bank accounts and credit card in overseeing A/P and A/R in any inter-company the intercompany accounts and work with the Controller(s) on any GST and other tax sheet reconciliations including accruals and pre-paid complex journal Duties Standard: helping the finance team with general duties in an efficient and timely manner. Support management and other internal staff members and effective communication with Clients and administration backup when duties as independently and possess good time managements communicate verbally and in strict familiar with the operation and programming of the QuickBooks accounting a business administration degree with accounting major or accountant of finance diploma.5 years or experience in related accounting field. Sound understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
