The Bosch-Rexroth R&D organization in Fountain Inn SC is looking for a control systems engineer to be part of our North-American functional bundle development team. The candidate will work closely with the systems engineering team to develop application software for the next generation hydraulic and electronic systems for the off-highway market. The candidate must be excited to be part of the simulation programming calibration testing and commissioning of bench test hardware prototypes as well as customer machines.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities may include the following
- Develop software solutions using simulation and modelbased development tools in close collaboration with the Engineering Systems Development team.
- Design and implement tools and utilities that streamline code generation optimization and debugging workflows.
- Utilize Rexroth hardware and software platforms to develop integrate and deploy application software for mobile machine control systems.
- Create and maintain documentation to capture validate and verify customer requirements both before and after solution deployment.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related field with an emphasis on control systems.
- Familiarity with C/C programming languages; proficiency in C# is a plus.
- Desirable experience with C programming CoDeSys CANalyzer and Simulink.
- Experience with CAN protocols commonly used in mobile machine control systems.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
- Innovative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to travel up to 20% for onsite customer support both domestic and internationally
