Job Duties:
Answer all calls in a timely manner screening and forwarding as applicable
Greet all employees clients and visitors ensuring the correct booking in procedures are followed
Ensure compliance with appropriate data protection policies
Assist in department projects & general administrative duties that can be performed without impacting call flow
Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned
In some departments this position may be expected to:
Assist with taxi and/or train travel arrangements for employees clients and visitors where appropriate
Distribute incoming mail and manage outgoing mail including arranging couriers as required
Arrange refreshments for business meetings which may include organizing light lunches
Education and/or Training:
A good general level of education; High school diploma or equivalent
IT literate and proficient in the use of the Microsoft suite of products i.e. Word Excel & Outlook.
Relevant Work Experience:
Previous experience in a similar role dealing with a high volume of calls
Administrative experience preferred
Switchboard experience in a high volume call center or customer service environment preferred
