Job Summary

General Summary:The Treasury Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the cash investment and liquidity management activities of a complex multientity nonprofit organization. This role ensures that adequate cash is available to meet operational needs manages banking and investment relationships oversees cash forecasting and ensures strong internal controls. The Treasury Manager collaborates closely with finance accounting development and program teams to support organizational stability regulatory compliance and longterm financial RESPONSIBILITIES:Treasury Operations & Cash ManagementDevelop and maintain daily weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts across all entities and restricted/unrestricted cash positions consolidate balances and perform interentity transfers while ensuring compliance with donor restrictions and grant cash pooling sweep accounts and shortterm investment strategies to optimize and maintain banking structures to ensure efficient transaction processing and minimized & Investment ManagementServe as primary liaison with banking partners investment managers and financial opening/closing of accounts authorized signers and banking documentation across investment portfolios in accordance with boardapproved investment policies ethical guidelines and risk periodic investment reporting and performance Management & ComplianceEnsure compliance with internal controls treasury policies investment policies and nonprofit regulatory fraud prevention measures including positive pay ACH controls and user access in managing debt agreements covenant reporting and credit external audit requirements related to cash investments and Controls & Process ImprovementStrengthen and document treasury policies procedures and internal controls across multiple and optimize treasury technology banking platforms and automation periodic reviews of treasury processes to improve efficiency security and & Strategic SupportWork closely with accounting to ensure accurate cash reconciliations and financial cash flow analysis to leadership and the Board to support strategic planning and longterm financial in budgeting and forecasting activities related to cash and capital :Minimum Education Required: Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field required or equivalent experience; MBA or professional certification (CTP CFA CPA) Experience Required: 5 years of treasury cash management or financial operations experience ideally within a nonprofit or multientity managing banking relationships and investment of nonprofit fund accounting restricted funds and grant compliance strongly Experience: Experience with nonprofit or governmentfunded payroll requirements (if applicable).Experience with multientity or union payroll License:Payroll certifications such as CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) or FPC (Fundamental Payroll Certification).REGULATORY:Minimum 18 years of AZ DPS Level I fingerprint clearance card (must maintain valid card throughout employment)CPR First Aid AED certification if required (must maintain throughout employment).Current valid Drivers License and 39-month Motor Vehicle Report and proof of vehicle registration liability insurance to meet insurance requirementsInitial current negative TB test result if required (Employer provides).Questions about this position Contact us
