Job Description:
L3Harris Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and capable Program Manager within our Military Avionics Division for a new development this role you will be responsible for driving program execution and overall program success including AOP objectives and key milestone achievement. This position will have a direct interface with customers internal R&D teams and executive leadership.
Essential Functions:
Manage and direct all phases of the program lifecycle from development contract award through transition to production
Leadership of a multi-disciplinary team and program staffing within a matrix organization
Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility and accountability for all aspects of program execution
Effective Earned value management including establishing integrated cost and schedule baseline
Deployment of processes for and rigorous management of risks change control and program dependencies
Regular briefings to customers military stakeholders and internal senior leadership
Ensure customer satisfaction and foster growth of new customer relationship
Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience; Or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience; Or in lieu of a degree a minimum of 16 years of prior related experience
Preferred Additional Skills:
Experience managing large development programs specifically in Electro-Optical Infrared or Distributed Aperture Systems
Experience with multiple contract types including cost plus and firm fixed price
Supplier/subcontractor management experience
Engineering degree or technical background/industry experience
MBA or PMP
In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in New York state is $133000-$247000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
