This position will serve as the Assistant Coordinator for the National Atmospheric Deposition Program (NADP) at the Wisconsin State Lab of Hygiene (WSLH)/University of Wisconsin Madison. The Assistant Coordinator will be responsible for managing the operational administrative and outreach activities that support NADPs mission to monitor and assess atmospheric deposition across North America. This position plays a critical role in ensuring smooth program operations maintaining effective communication with monitoring sites and stakeholders and facilitating scientific meetings and events.
The Assistant Coordinator will work closely with the NADP Coordinator Program Office (PO) staff NADP Analytical Lab (NAL) staff and NADP committees including the Executive Committee to coordinate site management data dissemination external communications and staff supervision. The Assistant Coordinator will also serve as the primary backup to the NADP Coordinator for any NADP presentations reports and other project deliverables. This position requires strong organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining positive relationships with federal state tribal and academic partners.

Serve as primary DoIT contact for website operations and regularly update with any new information to disseminate to the broader NADP community such as meeting dates and agendas annual publication lists and subcommittee and network updates
Produce annual NADP calendar from concept through print including solicitating site operator photos coordinating the Chairs Message approving final layout and managing printing logistics
Track and coordinate long-service operator awards for milestone years collaborate with the Executive Committee on other NADP recognition awards and oversee award wording ordering and procurement
Maintain oversight of all NADP social media accounts assign user permissions manage content and serve as primary contact to the Education and Outreach Subcommittee on social media initiatives
Produce Annual Summary Report including highlights from the year and coordinate development of mapping and program graphics and plots for the report
Plans and directs the day-to-day operational activities of one or multiple research programs or units according to established research objectives in alignment with strategic plans and initiatives - 20%
Exercises supervisory authority including hiring transferring suspending promoting managing conduct and performance discharging assigning rewarding disciplining and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees - 20%
