Job Summary
Job Title: Travel CT Technologist
Location - Gastonia NC
Contract Duration
13 Weeks
1 Position Available
Travel Assignment
Shift
2nd Shift 12 Hour Nights
Schedule: Saturday / Sunday / Monday
7:00 PM 7:30 AM
On-Call: Required approximately 2 times per month
Floating: Required as needed within affiliated imaging departments
Position Summary
The CT Technologist performs computed tomography procedures and related imaging services to produce high-quality cross-sectional images for diagnostic interpretation. This role requires professional judgment technical expertise and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
The technologist may also perform general diagnostic radiology duties as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Perform CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols
Demonstrate competency in cross-sectional anatomy and advanced imaging techniques
Administer IV contrast in accordance with established competencies and safety guidelines
Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment
Ensure accurate patient identification and safety screening
Provide high-quality patient care using AIDET customer service standards
Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records
Float to other imaging departments as needed
Participate in on-call rotation as assigned

Siemens Force CT Scanner
HD 750 Scanner
Required Qualifications
Active ARRT Certification with CT credential
R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT)
Prior CT experience
IV competency
Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
Ability to work independently on night shift
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with special imaging techniques
Strong customer service skills
