Role Summary:
A Singapore MEP (Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing) Contractor Project Manager leads the full
project lifecycle overseeing planning design and execution (including drawings procurement and
site works) as well as handover. The role ensures that MEP systems meet quality and safety
standards (including BCA and NEA requirements) remain within budget and are delivered on time
by coordinating closely with clients consultants subcontractors and relevant authorities.
Duties:
Involve in managing resources budgets schedules technical compliance site safety
commissioning and stakeholder communication for successful project completion.
Responsibilities:
1. Project Lifecycle Management: Overseeing the initiation planning execution monitoring
and closure of MEP works.
2. Technical Leadership: Reviewing MEP designs ensuring technical compliance conducting
value engineering and ensuring adherence to local authority requirements (BCA NEA).
3. Stakeholder Coordination: Acting as the central liaison among clients architects
consultants main contractors and suppliers.
4. Site Management: Leading site teams coordinating activities and monitoring progress
quality and resources (materials and budget).
5. Documentation & Reporting: Managing shop drawings as-built drawings material
take-offs progress reports and meeting minutes.
6. Financial Management: Monitoring budgets controlling costs managing change orders
and overseeing billing and certification.
7. Safety & Quality: Enforcing strict HSEQ (Health Safety Environment and Quality)
standards and sustainability requirements.
8. Commissioning & Handover: Managing testing commissioning and final project closure.
